- 6 stale cider doughnuts, broken into bite-size pieces
- 1 large apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or more to taste

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- Mix doughnuts and apple together in the prepared baking dish.
