Southern Addiction Mint Julep

"A mint julep with a twist. If you don't have enough room in your glass for 2.5 ounces of sweet tea, just top it off."

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice, or as needed
  • 2 fluid ounces peach-flavored bourbon liqueur (such as Southern Comfort ®)
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces peach schnapps
  • 2 fluid ounces club soda
  • 2 1/2 fluid ounces sweet tea, or as needed

Instructions :

Prep : 10M Cook : 1M Ready in : 10M
  • Muddle simple syrup and mint leaves together in a large glass; add ice. Pour in peach-flavored bourbon liqueur, peach schnapps, club soda, and sweet tea. Stir well.

Notes :

  • To make simple syrup, stir 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup water together in a saucepan, place over medium-low heat, and simmer until mixture is clear and sugar has dissolved, 1 to 2 minutes. Cool and store in refrigerator.
